Honey remains the 3rd most adulterated food globally due to its prized nature as a healthy treat and the ready availability of cheap, hard to detect substitutes in the form of syrups of processed sugars.
The Wendell family has been beekeeping since the 1930s. This honey comes from our own bees and is packaged on our farm by us. From bee to bottle we have full control of all the inputs, so we can guarantee that every jar has exactly what we say it has: pure, raw honey from Canadian prairie summer blossoms and nothing else (well, except naturally present bee pollen, tiny pieces of wax, and the odd bit of bee propolis).

Pure Raw Honey FAQ
All of our Wendell Estate Honey is sourced from our own bees, and is the finest honey our bees make during the prairie summer. There may be minor differences in flavour and colour from year to year and jar to jar as we never blend or batch (or otherwise alter) our honey. It comes straight from the hive and into the jar. We assure you differences are minor and guarantee the quality of every jar of pure raw honey that purchase from us. 340 grams is 12 ounces. Each 340g/12oz jar contains 16 standard standard servings of sublime soft-set sweetness. 1 standard serving is a tablespoon. That’s 16 pieces of the most deliciously healthy honey on toast, or as many as 50 cups of nicely sweetened tea.
At 3 calories per gram of healthy energy, 340g of honey is enough to power a medium sized (70kg / 155 lb) athlete to run 14.5 km or 9.1 miles at a fast pace of 16 km/h or 10 mph. (source: Harvard Health Publishing)

Definitely! Raw honey is healthy energy. It’s perfectly safe for anybody older than one year of age to eat raw honey regularly. In fact, many people, especially in Eastern Asia, take raw honey daily as a health tonic. The word “raw” is sometimes synonymous with “hazardous” in some people’s minds, but that’s definitely not true for honey. Pure raw honey is at least as safe as pasteurized honey (probably safer) and much better for you.
