Natural, Unprocessed Beeswax Direct from the Beekeeper
We’re honey producers and selling honey (mostly in bulk) is how we pay the bills. However, when we extract the honey, we end up with wax honeycomb and cappings as a byproduct of the extraction process. We melt this down, skim off the impurities, and pour it into simple blocks that weigh about 10.5 kg on average. Due to many requests for beeswax, we are now offering these pure beeswax blocks for sale here.
To be clear, these are large, pretty roughly made blocks of melted pure beeswax. But, if you need high quality pure beeswax for making candles, food wraps, protecting wood or leather, or other uses, this could be an economical solution for you.
$0.00. We pay all shipping. We do this because we hate shopping online, going through the whole process only to find out at the last step that shipping costs more than the actual product.
We ship our unpasteurized raw honey with Canada Post (partnered with USPS for USA deliveries), the only reliable logistical providers from our rural location. Please allow up to 7 business days for delivery in Canada and up to 14 business days for deliveries to USA addresses in normal times. We have no control over the postal system (or customs for USA deliveries) so cannot influence delivery times. If your honey does not arrive within the above quoted times, please contact us and we’ll do everything we can to get you your honey. Fortunately, delivery often occurs much quicker than the times quoted above, often in 4 to 10 calendar days.
We send out tracking information from our website when we ship your order. If you haven’t received tracking information within 2 business days of placing your order, please check your email spam/junk folder.

Natural Beeswax Blocks FAQ
The obvious one is making candles. Beeswax is also used in making home-made skincare products. You can dip cloth into beeswax to make re-usable, environmentally friendly food wraps. Beeswax can be used to protect wood and leather. If you make soap, you may want to use beeswax in your recipe. Beeswax can act as a lubricant by rubbing it on wood drawer rails, squeaky doors or stuck zippers. It also makes a good fire starter when combined with sawdust, dryer lint or cotton pads.
Sorry, but not currently. We’re a small beekeeping operation and don’t have the resources to make and sell smaller beeswax products. We may do so in the future. In the meantime, you might find some others to share a larger block with.
Yes! When we extract honey from the honeycomb, we need to scrape off the wax cappings before spinning the honey out with a centrifuge. Over the honey harvest we run hundreds of thousands of honeycombs through our extractors, so the small amount of wax we scrape off each one adds up. This wax is purely a byproduct of extracting the honey from the honeycombs, we do not intentionally harvest any wax from our honeybee colonies.
No. This is pure natural beeswax. The accumulated wax honeycomb cappings are melted down and any impurities skimmed off. The beeswax is then poured into 10 kg blocks for wholesale.
These are rough bulk blocks, with the half blocks cut by hand. Most of them will be slightly more than 5kg / 10kg (the full blocks average 23 lbs (10.5kg)). If yours happens to weigh less (it shouldn’t), please contact us and we’ll sort out a remedy.
