10. Missing Deliveries & Delivery Disputes
10.1 Delivery Confirmation: We rely on the delivery confirmation provided by Canada Post (and USPS for USA orders) to determine the status of shipments. Once a package is marked as “delivered” by the logistics company, it is considered to be delivered to the address provided by the customer during check.
10.2 Claims of Non-Delivery: In the event that a customer claims non-receipt of a package that is marked as delivered by Canada Post (or USPS), please notify Wendell Estate Honey at info@wendellestate.ca or 1-844-201-2829 as soon as possible and we will engage with Canada Post/USPS to file a missing parcel ticket (with the customer’s approval, information and support) to attempt to locate the missing package. Customers are required to report any delivery issues within 1 week of the stated delivery date, or within 3 weeks of the order shipment or the date the order was placed.
10.3 Investigation Procedure: Our team will work with Canada Post (or USPS) to verify the delivery details, including the delivery address, timestamp, and any available delivery confirmation signatures. We may also request additional information from the customer to aid in the investigation.
10.4 Resolution: If the investigation confirms that the package was not delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer, we will offer a no-charge replacement or a full refund, at our discretion.
10.5 Liability: Wendell Estate Honey is not liable for packages that are marked as delivered by the postal companies but are claimed as undelivered by the customer, provided that the delivery confirmation aligns with the address provided by the customer during checkout. This is important to note if your shipping address is a company address or shared accommodation such as a university dormitory, where packages are often moved or misplaced after delivery by Canada Post (or USPS).
10.6 Preventative Measures: To minimize the occurrence of delivery disputes, we encourage customers to provide accurate and detailed delivery instructions during checkout and to monitor their shipment’s tracking status closely.
10.7 Customer Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery address provided during checkout and for promptly reporting any delivery issues to our customer service team.
